Atlantic Yards photographer and friend Tracy Collins caught Al Pacino yesterday at the 78th Precinct.

The Lady BIB was recently researching an essay on Al Pacino -- it's up on Slate now -- that gave us the opportunity to watch Dog Day Afternoon for the 1,874th time (give or take). The utterly unassuming block where director Sidney Lumet shot the exteriors (including the immortal "Attica!" scene) is just a short bike ride from us, on Prospect Park West between 17th and 18th streets.
