Jamaica Bay Clean-Up

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) just released the Jamaica Bay Watershed Protection Plan. Cyclists will be pleased to hear the plan includes a call for a 20 mile greenway around the bay, connecting Brooklyn and Queens routes.

Jamaica Bay: Kings and Queens

The border of Brooklyn and Queens runs through the middle of Jamaica Bay. The above picture was taken in Queens looking at Kings. Below is a shot from Plumb Beach with Queens over the water.
